*Quick guide to getting 7DTD setup for the dedicated server.
*1) First off, you need 7DTD 15.2 (b8)

*2) Download Valmod OVERHAUL Pack. Scroll down a bit and you'll see the download. Make sure to get the OVERHAUL

*3) Download the prefabs pack (adds a shit ton of new buildings). Download is in the thread.

*Alrighty, should have all that downloaded and ready to go.
*1) Unpack 7DTD to it's own folder. No need to install.
*2) Install Valmod Overhaul following the instructions in the link. (Valmod optionally comes with a bigger backpack mod, install that too if you like.)
*3) Install the prefab pack following the instructions in the link.
*4) Run the game once to make sure it works! (start a new game, Random-Gen SP)
*5) While you have the game open, make a profile and a survivor. You can use them across different games.
*If it works, awesome, move to the next step. If not, hit me up on Steam.
*Now comes the fun of connecting to a server.
*1) Run 7DTD, hit Connect
*2) In the IP box enter: 192.168.0.1
*3) In the Port box enter: 26900
*4) Connect and enter 'pickledickle' for the password.
*5) Play! Hopefully.

I've successfully installed and used the Valmod overhaul for myself on a SP save and my friends are talking about getting back into 7 Days so they can try it for themselves. To make things more fun, I want to set up a MP server with Valmod so we can all enjoy the overhaul together. I ran a dedicated MP server on my PC for everyone in the past so I plan to try that again (unless I can convince my friends to pitch in for server rental).
However, I spent about an hour searching google, reddit, and 7daystodie.com to find out what I need to do to make a MP valmod server happen but came up empty-handed. Here's the questions I couldn't find answers for:

Do I need to install Valmod into the server files somewhere or is it enough if everyone simply downloads and installs the mod locally for themselves?

If I do need to install Valmod on the server itself, how do I do that?

Will the 7DTD Mod Launcher streamline the process of getting everyone into Valmod or does it just provide download links added by the admin?
