Loved this book. First, it assessed my own personality based on a relatively quick test in the back of the book, and I discovered how completely wrong I was about my own personality! And my husband is the complete opposite of me! I'm enthralled with reading about birth order, and this book was an entirely new perspective that showed there is no 'right' or 'wrong' personality. This book completely surprised me. Due to a friend's recommendation (and borrowing of the book), I read this book, not knowing at all what to expect, if anything. Within the first few chapters, I came to find that the author has a very good grasp on personalities, mine in particular. I liked this one. It was a little more in-depth than some of the others I've read. I wonder if the author even realizes how much she talks about the personality she is and her husband is compared to the other two. If I didn't happen to be one of these personalities, I think I'd feel left out. Or maybe that's just my Melancholy coming through.

I thought this book was fun to read and informative. The only criticism I have is that some of the stories were repeated from Florence Littauer's books, although I guess that's understandable since she is Marita's mother.
This book was a great introduction to the four temperaments. However, it lacked any scientific evidence or statistics to show support for the behavioral differences. I also was not a fan of how spiritual and personal it was.

I'm enjoying this book more then Personality Plus because Marita Littauer discusses more of the why or how you do something to help identify your personality. For example Choleric like to organize out of neatness & order (can find important papers later), while melancholies like to organize because it makes them happy (likes knowing that clothes are hung by categories in the closet).

Very Insightful. It takes a good look at some basic personalities and shows how and why they work the way they do. It also gives helpful suggestions for relating to other people, whether it is as a friend or in the workplace. Insight into your own personality and seeing how you can then relate to others better is helpful in all areas of life. I would highly reccommend this book to everybody.
Wired That Way goes into great detail of the different personality types by highlighting each of their strengths and weaknesses. The information is provided in the form of charts and narration. Implementing different styles of information aids the reader in dissecting and following the information. One of the modes may be clearer to the reader.
The four personality types in this book are summed up as follows: let's do it the fun way, let's do it the right way, let's do it my way, and let's do it the easy way. This breakdown is clear and accurate. A great book to read if you are a writer creating characters. Also very helpful in understanding family members!
Wired That Way Book Pdf
I appreciated this book on the personality temperaments because it encourages you to maximize your strengths and grow in your weaknesses- in marriage, as a parent (and parenting children of different personality temperaments), in communication, and has a great discussion of needs for each type of person. David is going to read it next!
Everyone should read this book to get an idea of people's personalities. I was really interested in this topic and it was a fun read. After you learn a little about the personalities, it's great to go around and try to diagnose personalities of random people and people you know.

I grew up with the four personality types, so there wasn't much new info here for me. BUT if you aren't familiar with them, this is a good introduction to a great tool for understanding yourself and others.
